1. About My Perfect Meal
My Perfect Meal ("MPM") is a platform providing information and support for food choices, made available during this experimental phase by Effective Gain Consulting, Unipessoal Lda., Portuguese legal entity identification number (NIPC) 510664644, Lisbon, Portugal.
The service is currently free of charge and is intended for people aged 18 or over. By creating an account, you accept these Terms and Conditions.

2. Account and use
You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential and report any unauthorised use of your account.
MPM must not be used for illegal or fraudulent purposes or in ways that compromise the security and operation of the platform.
3. Nutritional information and foods to exclude
MPM provides recipes, nutritional estimates and ratings of nutritional suitability. It does not provide consultations, diagnoses or clinical prescriptions, nor does it replace care from healthcare professionals.
Daily nutritional reference values take into account the age group and sex/gender indicated in your profile. User choices may also be taken into account, particularly in daily recommendations.
Recipe nutritional values are calculated automatically. Ratings follow rules defined by a nutritionist and reviewed by the team. Results depend on the available data and may vary according to ingredients, quantities and preparation.
You can select the foods you wish to exclude. By default, MPM hides recipes whose recorded ingredients match the selected foods. You can change this selection and choose to view hidden recipes.
This filter does not guarantee the absence of allergens, traces or cross-contamination. If you have an allergy, you must check the ingredients and labelling of the products used.
4. Information sources
Nutritional reference values are based on the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA), supplemented by the Dietary Reference Intakes of the United States National Academies.
The food composition data used include the following sources, depending on the ingredient:

Some nutritional profiles combine sources, unit conversions or approximations between similar foods. Use of these references does not imply approval or endorsement of MPM by the organisations that publish them.
5. Recipes and content rights
MPM content and third-party content are subject to the rights of their respective owners and the applicable terms of use. Making content available on the platform does not transfer those rights to you.
Recipes may be created by the team, adapted or obtained from other sources. Displaying authorship and sources within recipes, where applicable, is planned (this feature is evolving during the experimental phase).
You may submit recipes by email for the team to consider, indicating their source and author. Publication and any adaptation are handled by the team, subject to confirmation of the necessary rights and permissions. Submission does not guarantee publication.
Requests for corrections, clarification of authorship or removal of content can be sent to help@myperfectmeal.org.
6. Availability and liability
During the experimental phase, features and content may be corrected or changed, and interruptions or errors may occur. MPM does not guarantee specific nutritional or health outcomes.
These terms do not exclude or limit any liability or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
7. Account suspension and closure
MPM may suspend or close accounts in cases of misuse, fraud, breach of these Terms or security risks, informing you of the decision and the reasons whenever possible.
You may request account closure and deletion of your data by contacting help@myperfectmeal.org.
8. Changes and applicable law
Significant changes to these Terms will be communicated by email or through the platform, stating when they take effect. Renewed acceptance will be requested where necessary.
Portuguese law applies, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules applicable in your country of residence.
Privacy Policy
1. Data controller and data processed
Effective Gain Consulting, Unipessoal Lda., identified above, is the controller responsible for processing personal data on MPM.
We process the data provided during registration and in your profile: name, email address, country, language, sex/gender and month and year of birth, as well as food preferences, diet and foods selected for exclusion. We also process the information needed for the features you use and to respond to support requests.
2. Purposes and legal bases
Data needed to create and manage your account and provide the requested features are processed to perform the contract for the service you have requested.
Selecting foods to exclude is optional and is used to personalise the recipes shown to you. You can change or remove your selection in your profile at any time.
Receiving news about MPM requires an optional choice, separate from acceptance of the Terms. You can unsubscribe at any time using the option provided in the message or by contacting help@myperfectmeal.org. No promotions are sent at this stage.
Messages necessary for account management, security and responses to requests do not depend on a subscription to news. Data may also be processed to comply with legal obligations.
3. Access hosting and retention
Access to profiles is restricted to authorised MPM team members. The hosting infrastructure uses Amazon Web Services (AWS) services in the Paris region, France, as the technology provider.
Data are retained for as long as necessary to provide the service and fulfil the purposes described. Deletion requests are handled in accordance with the GDPR, without prejudice to retention strictly necessary to comply with legal obligations or defend legal rights.
4. Rights and contact
Where applicable, you may request access to, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability of your data, as well as exercise your right to object and withdraw consent you have given. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
Requests should be sent to help@myperfectmeal.org and will be handled within the statutory time limits. You may also lodge a complaint with the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados) — www.cnpd.pt — or the competent supervisory authority.
Significant changes to this Policy will be communicated through the platform or by email.
